M&S nursing bra review- best breastfeeding bra for fuller bust?

Searching for the best nursing bra felt like it would be a tricky task, particularly as I wanted something that would provide comfort and support. When embarking on my search, M&S seemed to have the best range of bras for breastfeeding. As my pregnancy progressed, I decided to ditch my wired bras that were almost certainly the wrong size in favour of non-wired options.

As a fuller-busted person, I knew my size wouldn’t be stocked in every shop. I’ve tried to look for non-wired bras and struggled to find the correct fit because they weren’t the right size or supportive enough.

However, when I discovered that M&S stock bras in sizes A-H, I knew I needed to give them a try in the hope that my pursuit of a comfortable, non-wired bra would finally be over.

I booked a pregnancy bra fitting in my local store because I wanted to be sure that I bought the right size instead of guessing. The fitting was incredibly helpful, and we tried a range of options to make sure that the bra ticked all the boxes.

Pregnancy Bra

Body by M&S Flexifit™ Non-Wired Full Cup Bra

I opted for the Body by M&S Flexifit™ Non-Wired Full Cup Bra, and I have never looked back. Available in sizes 30-44, this felt super supportive and, more importantly, didn’t dig in, leaving unwanted marks thanks to no wires.

One thing I couldn’t bear about wired bras, particularly with a bigger bust, was the marks it would leave, not to mention the discomfort. Designed to feel like second skin, this bra didn’t feel like I was wearing anything, for once, I didn’t feel the urge to take it straight off the minute I got home.

The material was thick, and I could feel that the bra was of great quality. Support was a huge non-negotiable, and this didn’t disappoint, I felt that this provided the right amount of lift and, I wasn’t spilling out of the edges thanks to being properly fitted.

The only thing I do wish was that this range came in different colours as it’s a great bra.

Maternity Lace Trim Nursing Bras

I was advised to return for another fitting after birth because my size would inevitably change. I booked in for a nursing bra fitting and opted for the same non-wired bras again.

I am equally impressed by the M&S nursing bras, the clasps stay secure and easily undo when I need to feed. I have changed sizes a couple of times during my post-partum journey, but I’ve been able to select my size.

I’ve since opted for some prettier nursing bras with a little bit of padding for more support and lift. I started to feel like the other bras were too similar to my maternity options; these had more of a stylish flare, which I felt I was now lacking post-partum.

I can safely say that I’ve found the non-wired bras I’d longed for and I am glad I found a brand that catered to everything I wanted.

To sum up M&S’ offering, the bras are great quality, supportive, comfortable and available at a reasonable price point.
